After a fairly uneventful day, Mal decided (once he'd eaten some of his dinner) to take a nap before night officially started. He was a light sleeper and knew that the intercom would wake him up. "Fine." He said, and although he was doing what Dias had hoped for, he didn't seem to be doing it happily. (Then again, when did the Ishbalan do anything happily?) "I'll lead the way."
Scar nearly forgot about the third man in the hallway until he almost walked right past him. He blinked at him, then narrowed his eyes.
"Can you fend for yourself?"

"Of course," he said, not taking offense or sounding arrogant. "I'm sorry to have wasted your time. I hope you both find what you are looking for." He bowed slightly out of politeness then turned to leave the two men alone.
