Wesker hadn't managed to make any plans to be accompanied up to the lab, perhaps this was a trip best made alone.
He didn't want to have to share anything he might potentially need, and other people would only slow him down. The trip up to the lab was one he had made before, so he didn't need to worry about finding his way, but there could potentially be complications if he ran into any fast-moving opponents on the second floor.
Wesker put his radio in a pocket of his jacket, and paused to contemplate his flash light. Well, he would take it, just in case. The flashlight joined the radio in a pocket, along with his small collection of knives before he went out into the hallway.
