[From here]Ophelia was faced with a choice upon entering the next hallway. The path to her right she remembered would lead to the areas she had visited during the day. The path to her left lead to an unknown area. While the thought of upping the challenge (and thus the fun) by going down an unknown hallway in the dark without her night vision was ( Read more... )

Akihiko paused for just a moment to double-check the location of the meeting. Mitsuru was in room F35. It felt strange just walking into the female patients' block. He didn't like staying on the girls' floor of the dorm too long. Walking into the entire block?

Monsters didn't faze him. But some angry girl smacking him for just walking in like that? Did. He took a deep breath, bracing himself before stepping into the hallway.

Celes hesitated outside, reminding herself of her bearings. Left would take her to the wrong rooms, and tonight she wanted only the lower numbers. Or so she hoped. Hurrying along, her flashlight's beam flickered. Triad preserve her if it went out tonight. She would simply scream.

Momo knew this path so well, she could walk it in her sleep. No light was needed so the shinigami kept her flashlight off. She'd had to change the batteries when she first tested it before leaving, which had delayed her some, but there was no need for the light now.

She moved onto the next hallway.

Still the hallways were fairly empty. GLaDOS slowed her pace a bit, no longer feeling the urge to rush ahead and beat everyone to the cake. Chances were they were all stupid enough to think cake was unimportant, and besides, there weren't any monsters yet. If one showed up, it would be prudent to have someone else around for it to attack, so to let others get ahead of her would be fine.

So comfortably she moved, her flashlight beam forward, revealing what she couldn't see normally.
