The container was lighter than it had been the night before and she kept up a steady pace to her destination. She knew this hallways. She just needed to move.

Renamon was almost into the female hallways when she felt something shift inside of her. Her steps staggered for a moment, and then suddenly she was visible again--not by her design. Her eyes widened, and panic froze for mind for a minute, but only that. She needed to get Yukari back to her room.

She knew where Leader's room was, she just didn't know what she was supposed to do once she got there. Like she knew! This was just frustrating.
She paused, leaning against the wall. She needed to think for a sec.

Orihime moved into the next hallway...and realized she'd forgotten the room number. Should she go back, or hurry on to the men's hallways and try to find the large group that would no doubt be waiting there? How could she forget something so important?
Luckily, her flashlight beam passed across someone familiar leaning against the wall. Orihime stopped and lowered the beam quickly. It had only been about chest-high but she didn't know how sensitive other people's night vision was and...and... Orihime willed herself to be calm. This wasn't even the hard part. She could do this. "Senna-san?"

And then she remembered that she was standing in a dark hallway. "Orihime," Senna replied, her voice trying for cheerful and failing. She dropped the act, and just asked normally. "Are you going to... the thing tonight, 'hime-chan?"

This was mostly certainly not the Dark Hour. It was dark, yes, but there was no telltale difference in the lighting or the feel of the rooms. People wandered about freely, and there were no signs of sleepers in their coffins. Besides, it was nowhere near midnight. Still, there were apparently monsters about, so Chidori kept an eye out as she walked towards the meeting place.
People, she ignored entirely.

The route was so familiar by now, Yuffie was sure that she could walk it blindfolded. And with her legs tied together. With her legs tied together, tied to her wrists! … Okay, maybe that would make things a little difficult. But if it ever came up, she was confident that she’d be able to handle it just fine. She had taken the opportunity to brush up on her rope escape skills after Meteor Fall, after all.
With a purposeful, skip-in-her-step stride, Yuffie continued on. She didn’t bother with her flashlight; her eyes were adjusted well enough, and there was enough stray light from other people’s flashlights that it wasn’t necessary.

Another concern was the tone of the second intercom announcement. It came close to being the strangest to date, in her mind. She'd made out a few of the words, but a lot of them had been swallowed by static.
It couldn't mean anything good, at any rate.
Tsubaki shifted the pillow case on her shoulder, picking her way through to the door. With one hand occupied, she'd have to be extra cautious with using her flashlight. For now, she kept it tucked away.
