Kurogane was very much not the creative type, so naturally the nurse didn't care for his protests of having an "Arts and Crafts" time and forced him into the room

Today had been weird. Breakfast had been the only normal part of it really, but then there had been the joy of the showers and Lunch with Superboy. Why not finish it up with Arts and Crafts? After all that was just what she needed! A place where she could lanyard out a noose and hang herself. Great end to the day.
Donna decided not to give Landel that satisfaction though and only took a seat, not intending to make anything. She took to watching the door to see if someone she knew would be up for a conversation instead of being all creative.
[The Bride first... then The Doctor and Rose for thread of awesome]
Beatrix decided she'd go to Arts & Crafts if only so she could make Hanyuu and Rika bracelets out of beads. She picked up some line and an assortment of beads and looked for someplace to sit.
Drawing up a chair next to Donna, the Bride gave her a small smile. "Good to see you decided a straight jacket wasn't worth it."
"Oh, it woulda been worth it," Donna huffed, but she'd let it go then and was letting it go now, "I can't see how you put up with a place like this! It's crazy! They're even making us do 'Arts and Crafts' for God's sake!"
Ranting was a good way to blow off some frustration from the day, and poor Arlene was just the person for Donna to rant to. Anyone would have been really, but Arlene had been the first one there.
The Bride started threading beads onto the line as she listened to Donna. It seemed the Brit was working herself up into a hell of a rant. Beatrix was of no mind to stop her.
"It is ridiculous - we are adults - but I've decided it's prudent to watch one's temper during the day," she replied. "The drugs they use for sedation are fairly powerful and if you aren't careful, you'll be lacking your wits when the night arrives."
She gave Donna a small smile. "Oh, and that project we completed in the dear ol' swamp monster's territory proved fruitful. I can't explain it, though apparently your Doctor can, but those pipes became a beautiful sword before my very eyes."
"Oh, so we get to make things? Yohohoho! That sounds like fun!" Brook laughed once the nurse told him what the Arts and Crafts was. He ducked into the room and looked around excitedly at the materials that were open to him. He'd never just been told to go and make something before, but it was worth a shot!
Eventually he settled for some construction paper and crayons and after taking them up found a seat where he could start putting together what had come to mind. He'd have to show it to the crew later once he'd finished it!
From what Claude could remember, it'd been awhile since he'd spent any time in the Arts and Crafts room, which was kind of odd since he actually did enjoy art. It sure was a nice change of pace after spending so much time in other places in the Institute, and he settled down in one of the seats without saying much to his nurse. After glancing around, the blond realized there weren't that many other people here yet
( ... )
After his talk with Miku, Okita was left both strangely determined and quite...confused. Having people know him was odd enough, but having fans? And the talk of cameras? It wasn't exactly what he expected when he had finally met his little poet from the board, but the meeting had been informative at least. Now, rather than head to the Sun Room, he was taken to the Arts and Crafts room. The nurses seemed to think he'd do well enough on his own for finding entertainment and left him near the doorway. He surveyed the room and spotted Ayumu, but didn't let his gaze settle on her anymore than anyone else. Himura was snooping and he didn't need to blow her cover anymore than he already might have at breakfast
( ... )
Claude hadn't sensed anyone behind him. When the newcomer finally spoke up, he visibly jerked and whipped his head around. The stern expression from earlier instantly melted into one of surprise. "Wh-what?" The blond scratched his head and glanced down at the sketch of Dias, suddenly looking a little sheepish. "Oh, no. I was just, uh, thinking about something."
That wasn't anything unusual, though. With how much stuff went on around here, it wasn't like his plate was more full than anyone else's.
The patient's face looked familiar, but Claude didn't think he'd ever actually spoken with...her? It was kind of hard to tell at first glance, and for a moment, Claude tried to remember if he'd seen this person during the any of the male shifts. He might have, come to think of it, but then, it wasn't like he spent his time in the showers looking at other guys, either, so that wasn't particularly helpful.
"Do you like arts and crafts?" he suddenly asked, figuring it would be kind of awkward to leave his last comment as it was.
Thinking about something unpleasant more than likely, judging from how similar the man had been to his sketch. Moving around to the chair next to him, Okita pulled it out and sat down, linking his fingers beneath his chin as he looked at the artist next to him. Since it seemed that the man didn't want to talk about what made his face so serious, Okita decided to just answer his question and leave it at that. "Yes, I do. Although many of the things in here I don't know how to work them." Reaching out he plucked a pen from the table and drew a little piglet chewing on a shoe off in the corner of one of the papers and smiled. "But that's about all I can do

Teisel couldn't really feel like he was back in kindergarten (having never gone to school in the first place), but one look around the room was enough to tell him that this was something Bon and the servbots would've enjoyed a lot more than he would. His nurse pointed him to an empty chair that was a tad too small for him and pushed a clean sheet of paper his way before patting him on the head and bustling off to collect her next victim.
Sighing, he grabbed whatever materials were closest and got started. May as well kill some time.
Rendering an explosion out of glitter and macaroni shells was trickier than Teisel had anticipated, but he was managing. Might have to bust out some crayons for the bazooka, though...
When he entered the room, Tyki wondered what the hell he was doing here. Working with pencils and crayons wasn't really his thing, anyway. Nah, he'd rather play cards. Or even read a book, as out-of-place that might have been for a tramp.
But his nurse had insisted he would try it, so here he was. Shrugging, he slid into a seat across of a pretty big-lookin' guy with grey hair. It seemed like he was having some fun with glitter and macaroni shells.
"Hey there!" Tyki said before grabbing some paper and a few crayons. Might as well keep himself occupied while he was stuck in this room, anyway.
Boy, this stuff really went everywhere, didn't it? Teisel attempted to shake off some of the glitter that had decided to stick to his hands rather than the paper. So far it wasn't coming along too badly, and as much as he hated to admit it he was kinda getting into this.
He looked up briefly at the guy across from him. "How's it goin'?" Kinda scruffy-looking, but at least he was an adult. Those seemed a little hard to come by around here. Forte was a good kid, but Teisel wasn't a damn babysitter.
Now...A little of the orange glitter right there, on the edge of his armor. There! It had that nice reflected glow to it, just like real life. Except maybe a little sparklier. This was looking surprizingly good. He made a quiet little hum of contentment and started adding in some flowers. Gotta balance out the perfectly justified carnage, right?
"I'm alright." Tyki answered cheerfully before taking a peek at what the other guy was drawing. It looked...sparkly. Which was an understatement. "How 'bout you? Looks like yer havin' fun with the glitters."
In the mean time, he began doodling random things on his own sheet of paper with a red crayon. Nothing ground-breaking or artistic, but crayons weren't the best way to express his creativity anyway. Blood usually worked much better, but that was reserved for his black side only.
Okay, so. On a scale of one to weird, that had been... hella confusing.
Yuffie'd been feeling a little tired after breakfast, so she'd taken a quick nap. Just a teeny tiny one. Only, it seemed like her internal alarm clock had commited ritual suicide; somehow, without meaning to, she'd slept through nearly the entire day.
She'd had just enough time to tack up a quick message to the Hair Brigade (they really did have epic hair, didn't they? Not quite on Cloud's level, but they got points for effort!), before her nurse had ushered her along to the Arts and Crafts room. Not that she'd needed much ushering; she wasn't much of an artist, but making a mess would be fun!
Humming a nonsense tune under her breath, Yuffie gathered a bunch of materials, plopped herself down in a chair, and got to work. She had a ninjalicious sign to make.
Sheena had been rather happy to slip away from her company at lunch, though she was a bit annoyed to find Yukari heading to the same room she was. Well, let's see if that damned woman would be stupid enough to deal with two ninja; she was supposed to be meeting with Yuffie at the next Arts & Crafts day anyways. They had a sign to make for when they destroyed this damn ranch.
Picking up some cardboard, glitter, glue and some markers, Sheena looked around. Her ninja senses must have been tingling since she found who she assumed was Yuffie fairly quickly. She set her stuff down next to the other ninja and sat.
"Yo, Mizuho." Yuffie looked up with a grin, twirling a marker between her fingers.
Putting the name to the face wasn't exactly difficult; they'd never seen each other before, but the boobs. Oh Gawd, the boobs. Well, and the hair... but mostly, it was the boobs that had given the other ninja away. Luckily, Yuffie was used to other people and their... assits - with friends like Tifa, you learned damn quick not to stare. Or comment.
"How'd you know I was me?" She asked after a beat, cocking her head to the side. Tongue between her teeth, she looked back at the piece of card in front of her and sketched a few roses and flower petals as a border. "Were you attracted by my awesometastic ninja aura?"
"Mhmm. Super special ninja senses started tingling," Sheena replied. "Besides, there's no one else in the room that looks like they could be you."
She grinned and started cutting out letters that spelled Mizuho and Wutai out of the cardboard for their sign. "So what colors do we want to make this thing?"

He wondered if cheating at cards counted as art.
