Archer kept one hand on the rail as he ascended the stairs. His flashlight was out, but he didn't want to risk falling flat on his ass, especially in the stairwell. It might look funny when someone slipped in the movies, but it'd be pretty pathetic if a heroic spirit met his doom by falling down and breaking his neck. How would he face the other spirits?
