Scar didn't have to think long about which direction to be escorted in for the third shift. He didn't quite enjoy the human activities these nurses forced them to do, so it wasn't much of a surprise that he soon found himself sitting on the grass in the courtyard

Sitting on the grass not too far from another man, Subaru kept the paper bag closed for now. The birds wouldn't come to him on their own just yet, though the bread crumbs could probably lure them if he wanted to, because his mood and his thoughts were still quite unbalanced. Animals were only attracted to him when he was calm, or happy. The latter was impossible, but maybe now that he was outside and had eaten something he could strive for calm.
Still, Subaru couldn't just ignore politeness. And maybe a distraction was exactly what he needed, anyway. So he smiled slightly at the lone man sitting nearby, and introduced himself, "I'm Sumeragi Subaru."

Scar had watch the various patients moving into the courtyard for a moment. It seemed he wasn't quite the only one wanting some fresh air. Soon enough someone situated himself not far from him. An invetiable occurrence, considering the nature of this facility. Or maybe it's prisoners.
"Scar." he answered for the sake of being proper, though his voice sounded rather bored. "A pleasure to meet you, I suppose."

"There are worse days, I guess." he eventually answered, hoping the topic wouldn't be about something as mundane and meaningless as the weather. "Naturally, they are not as worse as the nights."
There was a small pause. "Wouldn't you agree?"

A visitor...? Miku's mind worked feverishly. That could only mean something very bad was about to happen. She nodded absently, and followed the nurse outside. It was chilly enough to be worth the overlarge sweatshirt her nurse had brought with her and Miku slipped her arms inside it. She wandered out alone, and sat down on a bench. She wrote a tree in her journal, illustrating who was connected to her and how they connected to each other.

"I'm making a relationship chart ...just to see how everyone knows everyone, that's all" Miku scooted over and patted the bench beside her. She hadn't seen the younger boy in so long it felt like an eternity. And in this place, it likely was. She didn't see any new injuries on him, but that didn't mean they weren't there. Besides that, he looked thin and underfed, moreso than usual. "Come and sit with me?" she offered.

Taking the seat next to Miku, Ritsuka pulled his camera out and stared down at it, making sure the nurses couldn't see. He'd taken a few with Soubi, but had never managed to catch Alfons in time. And now he never would. It hurt to know that. To realize that in his rush to get home and do things, he'd forgotten the most important thing. He wouldn't forget again. "I prefer this kind of chart," he said, lifting the camera a little. "Want to take one with me?"

Another man seemed to be sitting under the shade of a particularly lovely tree--it was fascinating how the leaves of different trees were such different colours here, in Falena they were mainly green--so Frey wandered over to admire it. Not wanting to be rude, he smiled at the young man and said, "Hello."
[OOC: There's no real canon information about Falena's seasons, but considering the fact that it's on the southern continent and seems to be quite warm for the most part, I am assuming it doesn't have the same kind ( ... )

"Hey," Archer replied, returning the greeting, looking up at the silver haired adolescent. His tone was quite cordial, lacking his trademark cynicism; it seemed like he was a little off his game. Maybe it was because he was full. Brunch did have a very nice assortment this morning. "Did you come here to enjoy the scenery too?"

He knew it made him appear all the more dead, as it brought out the paleness of his face and the bleached color of his hair, but he didn't care. He was out during the day and his insides weren't burning him up.
Seems pretty decent to him, even if he had to deal with this crazy place.
He sat down on the grass and simply enjoyed the feeling, closing his eyes to bask.

Courtyard again. Been there, done that.
And no closer, really, to finding out what the deal was with the inhibitors. In fact, Brock thought, the only thing they had found out today so far was that Peter - the other one, not Parker - somehow had survived not one night but several. And apparently knew Sylar. And didn't like him. Well, Brock could agree with him there - it was one thing for a guy not to mind manipulating others or getting his hands dirty with a little gore, it was another to start playing with someone's brains like it was Play Doh.
Still, he had given them an extended lease on the sanity front. Brock supposed that had to amount for something - human brains seemed to keep the hunger at bay far longer than trying to choke down the sub-par monster ones ( ... )

Looking around for any familiar faces, he spotted one particularly unwelcome one among the trees. Remembering Claire's concern for her uncle, and how vulnerable she'd seemed in spite of - or was that because of? - her powers, he followed Brock into the meager cover provided.
Eddie didn't have any obvious blood splatters or anything on him, so he probably hadn't assaulted other-Peter while Harry's back was turned but that didn't mean he didn't have plans on the guy.
"What the hell are you doing, skulking back here?" he snapped as he got close, trying to mimic the way his father looked when angry. It had always managed to scare whoever was the focus if his wrath before.

Stepping closer in an attempt to appear more threatening, he growled, "Thanks, but I think I'll pass. You'll have to find some other way to get you kicks today. Besides, you seemed to be having a little trouble last time, you sure you really want to provoke me when the nurses might not get here in time to save you?"
