hereClark stepped inside the Entry Room. The last time he remembered being here, he'd been fresh off from running out of the Doyleton buses with TK, Wesker, and Claire. Everyone had been injured, TK and himself covered in ashes and soot from the burning bus and covered with the stench of burning flesh. Remembering that night made Clark

The traces of moonlight shining from the open doorway at the end of the room were enough to illuminate the room just enough for Anise to tell that she and Ion were the only ones there. "Wow! It's totally empty! Hehe, looks like we're in luck tonight." The night of the ambush, the entry room had been full of patients seeking refuge from the dangers outside. If nobody bothered sticking around this time, then maybe it meant there weren't any big obstacles nearby!
"I guess we really don't need this key after all, huh?" Unless they wanted to lock the front door for some reason. Oh well! At least this way, Anise wasn't going to feel too disappointed about having to give the key back to the Colonel after the night was done.

The entry room was quiet when Alice slipped inside, and she held the door open so Edward and Bella could slip past. "Here," she murmured, her gaze already going across the room to where the door hung partially open. It looked as if others had beat them to trying this route.

When they reached the front door, Bella paused to look at it in its half open state. “…Well, I guess there’s no time for cold feet, huh?”
To say she wasn’t at least a little bit nervous would have been a lie. They had never really been outside the walls of Landel’s, especially during the night. Yes, she had been outside, but to be outside outside? This was something entirely new. Who knew what they were going to face?
And who was going to take the first step outside? “ … On the count of three?”

He moved past the two, curling a hand around the doorframe, reaching out his empty one to touch a stray shard of moonlight that was cutting into the room. It gave him more than enough light to see with; it might as well have been daytime outside.
Unlike the latter, the moonlight only served to give his white skin an eerie glow. "Just be careful," he said, slipping outside.

Having traveled this way many times, Momo lead the way quickly and efficiently, knowing that the night could end at any moment. They'd lost a lot of time waiting for Frey to arrive, but the shinigami still stood by her decision to have her weapon repaired. Now, she had to take care of her mission and her friend's mood.
Momo had to admit the idea of engaging something in battle and being victorious would do a lot to help her own mood as well.
She finally slowed her pace when they reached the entrance room, coming to stop right in front of the doors. There weren't any monsters this time, nor anything guarding the door. A part of her was telling her to be more mindful of her surroundings and proceed with caution, but she couldn't bring herself to care that much. She had Signum with her, a whole sword and a great need to accomplish something - she wasn't worried ( ... )

The knight shouldered her way through the wide doors without breaking stride, sword held at guard. Yes, she might not be thinking about it right now, but she very much wanted to do something of significance with the night too, and that desire guided her movements.

Edgeworth took a look around the room, noting the fact that it was carpeted with some dismay. If the scorpion was following them, this gave it the ability to sneak up on them inaudibly, and that wasn't good.
He took a moment to check his map. Two file rooms, but how were they organized? It could be simply alphabetical, or it might be by date, with older files in one room and newer ones in another.
There was only one way to figure it out, and that was to move.
[and coin flip says file room 1. moving there.]
