You could get outside now?
Well, he'd heard mention of the walls coming down, but the lack of any reports of successful escape were conspicuous in their absence; Zelnick was inclined to believe Landel that going outside would do as little towards your escape as staying indoors.
Of course, Zelnick did have plans for indoors

Well, that last thing on the intercom was more than a little weird. Junior really hoped that they got out soon so that someone could teach that pompous bastard that he wasn't God. But tonight, it wouldn't be his chance. He had somewhere else to go. Junior gathered his things quickly. All he needed was the flashlight, a scalpel, and a pillowcase, after all, and then he was out the door. "Good luck tonight," he called out behind him, giving Omi a wave.

Taking flashlight and batteries in hand, he headed down the hallway and towards his destination with quite a bit more haste than he usually put into his steps.

'The plan' arrived with a grin and a knock on Zelnick's door before he proceeded to burst on in, beaming like anything. His bow was strapped to his back and his three arrows were in a makeshift belt, along with the three knives and the pokeball- well, that was shrunk down in his pocket, but still. He was loaded for anything, yet what he really noticed was the Oreo package.
...which drew him like a moth to a flame, his eyes and feet ever shifting towards it. "Yo, Cap'n. Doin' well?"

Zelnick couldn't help but grin back, laying his notebook aside and waving invitingly at the stretch of empty bed on the other side of the Oreos. "I'm doing fine," he said, then wriggled his fingers at Xigbar. "Still in one piece, and all that jazz. And you?"

"Dude, where did you even get these?" He hoped Zelnick told him, because then he'd know where to launch the first test of his Mobile Arsenal of Death.

Xigbar seemed pretty happy with the treats, which was awesome. "I tagged along with someone else my first night, and we ended up in a kitchen on the second floor. It's also where I got my stash of apples-- though I handed those off to Princess Alita for moonshine-- and my knife 'n skillet. Are they good?" He plucked one from the package and held it up for his own examination. It looked tasty, really, but he'd been saving them for, well, this, so he hadn't tried them yet.

He wasn't going to hold his breath.
He grabbed his flashlight and opened the door, fingers ready to reach for a dart, just in case. Then he just stood there blinking for a moment at the kid outside his door.
...Oh please don't let Hitsugaya have paired him up with someone else like Artemis.
He offered the boy a hesitant smile. "Hey. I'm Omi. Arts and Crafts, right?"

Okay, so... His name was Near but he didn't want Omi to call him that after tonight? Omi was smart, sure, and clever in his own way, but that followed no logic he could find. Especially since he apparently hadn't even given Hitsugaya his real name. After a short time he gave up trying to figure it out and just shook his head. He'd thought telling people he was a florist was bad. "Near. Okay."
And since neither of them seemed to be moving, his instinctive sense of decorum, such as it was these days, kicked in, forcing him to concede the doorway. "Um.. might as well sit down, I guess? Since our third isn't here."

He grabbed the sword from underneath his mattress, eyeing the blade and testing it on his thumb. Still sharp. Good to know. He hadn't been sure how well it would work against that creature last night.
With a nod to his roommate, he slipped out into the corridor.
