Yuffie bounced all the way through collecting her lunch, all the way to a good seat- one with a nice view of the whole cafeteria, which was something she'd been missing out on during the past day or so that she'd been stuck in the Institute- and hell, she even bounced into her seat.
A good mood? No, reallyDespite the occasional blip, talking to

Trance was something else. Seishirou had been unreadable too, but then again, he got the feeling that Trance probably wasn't along those lines. The little bit of the man he'd managed to read, had pointed to a potentially manipulative personality.
And where the fuck was Goku? Knowing the kid, he hadn't even read the note he'd left up.

But now, the demi-god's focus shifted to the meal, and then to finding a seat. He looked around the cafeteria, stopping when his eyes stopped on a particular man. Kenren hadn't mentioned the presence of anyone else from their world, but from the distance--and even less, as Homura approached--the person seemed to unmistakably another god.
"Konzen Douji?" A rush of excitement had Homura putting his tray down without thought. Could it be that he was one of the newer patients? If so, he'd need to be informed, as would Kenren.

He had stonily ignored the nurse who came to collect him, still not in the right mindset to want to deal with any of the staff in this place. Once he was inside, he grabbed a tray of food and looked around for Homura, wanting to check on him again. It only took a moment and...
Fuck.
Of all the people that Homura had to go and find, it had to be Mr Stick up His Ass Priest. Kenren made his way over there as quickly as he could with a tray of food and managed to grab Homura's shoulder. Now was really not a good time, not when Homura remembered nothing. "Homura, you really don't want to talk with him."

Even Homura couldn't be this fucking stupid. Then again, it wasn't stupidity that caused him to repeatedly keep sticking his hands right into a predator's jaws. He definitely got off on the thrill of it, and he was back to try for more.
Over my dead body.
Sanzo didn't even have to think about it. The monk had shot to his feet violently, the chair skidding back several feet with the force of it.
"You fucking son of a bitch," Sanzo snarled. He was this close to slugging the bastard.

Daemon was a good deal calmer when coming back into the building than he had been when he'd left it. Still, his expression was distracted as he moved through the food line and filled his plate. Only a few more hours till nightfall. He would find out what River wanted and then set about seeing what he could find out with the spider silk he'd retrieved last night.
He was cautious in hoping that that skill might have been left to him, but there was no way of knowing until he tried.

Another woman had come to drag Karla away from Lucivar for a 'shift change,' whatever that was. Again, Karla was less than pleased. Not that she needed some sort of security blanket or anything, but a bit of familiarity never hurt anyone.
Which was why she gravitated toward a familiar face in the sea of people crowding around for food. Weird food. She dropped her tray down on his table. "Lucivar said you were here. Maybe you'll make more sense than he did."

Daemon looked up, startled from his thoughts at the familiar voice. For a moment, he just blink, unexpectedly caught entirely off guard. Had he failed to sense her? Saetan's disappearance and Rainier's appearance had distracted him more than he'd realized.
"Karla?" he spoke aloud, looking a bit dumbfounded for a moment.
Then again, Karla had a real talent at knocking everyone around her speechless.

The shower had been wonderful. Claire came out feeling almost like a new person. The injuries on her shoulder had healed nicely - other than a faint scar where the one boy had bit her, which was odd, but she'd wait and ask her dad or Peter what they thought about that when she next saw them.
Filling her plate with food, she glanced around at the still-almost-empty cafeteria and figured they were still ushering the adults back in from outside. Not knowing anyone that was here, she found an empty table and sank down to start on her lunch.

Noticing Claire sitting by herself, Wesker took his tray and sat down next to her. "Claire... I'm glad to see you're alright, I was worried about you," Worried that she'd vanished, though it looked like she was still here. He was slightly unhappy that she hadn't gotten in contact with him or sought him out, and blamed that on the Nathan guy that had shown up.

"Umm. Hi! I'm okay. See? But they... sorta did something to my memories," she began, offering him a self-conscious, embarrassed smile. This got more awkward and guilt-inducing every time she had to do it.

"Nothing...? Very well, you and I arrived here on the same night... which was a little over two weeks ago. You have the same regenerative ability that I do, and... you really don't remember me at all?" Wesker was going to be cautious here about how much he said until he knew what Claire's memories were of her life outside this place. It was possible those had changed too... and that was a disturbing thought, if they did alter the memories of the lives that people had outside this place.
Though it was possible this Claire was also from another point in time, one where she knew her biological father. It would be unfortunate if he could no longer assume that role in her life, but he would deal with it anyway.

Allelujah had eventually managed to fall asleep in the Sun Room in an attempt to avoid Hallelujah's almost circular logic. He hated arguing with him. He didn't follow any kind of train of thought that Allelujah could distinguish most of the time and there was also something fundamentally wrong about arguing with yourself.
The nurse had woken him up and gudied him into lunch, commenting about how he could always ask for a sleeping pill if he was having trouble getting to sleep at night. He practically shuddered at the thought.
He took a tray of food which again, smelled delicious and went to find himself a seat in the corner.

Eventually, though, the lure of food was enough to distract Tokito from running mental circles around the topic of just what this place was, so he wandered over to the serving area and took a bunch of everything that looked good. Which was... more or less everything. Not enough sweets, though. Fruit was okay, but it was no substitute for Pocky.
The crowding got to Tokito again as he tried to find somewhere to sit, and eventually he had to settle for sitting in a corner (good), but with some other guy right next to him (bad). "... Hi."
Reply
He looked up when someone approached his table and sat down, giving the boy a wary look over. "Um, hi," Allelujah replied a little hesitantly.

... Which, of course, made him think of Kubo-chan, and the last time they went to McDonald's to eat. It was weird to be eating without him. He'd almost always had the company of someone he knew when eating, at least as far as he could remember; usually it was Kubo-chan, but sometimes Shouta or Takizawa or Kasai.
It was true that it wasn't only Kubo-chan who had turned out to be okay, yeah. Though other good people had mostly been kids or people Kubo-chan had okayed. Tokito sighed, poking at his food listlessly. How long would it take Kubo-chan to find him and come get him? This place was so weird, and if it had this many people kidnapped, they were probably pretty good at staying hidden. He might have to try to meet people all on his own. That sucked. "... Have you been here ( ... )

By the time the intercom announced the lunch shift, Yue was no closer to either resolving his internal confusion or improving his mood. The prospect of re-entering the cafeteria and being once more confronted with his humiliating need for food dragged said mood down even farther, leaving the guardian stalking about like an offended cat and practically exuding an aura of irritation and injured ego as he went.
In order to keep the nurse from whining at him Yue set a token bowl of soup, some fruit, and glass of water on his tray, then glanced around the room briefly. He didn't see or sense the magician in the room yet, and he wasn't exactly in the mood to strike up a conversation with any of the strangers that he did see, so he instead paced over to an empty seat by the window. Yue then proceeded to completely ignore the tray and the others in the cafeteria, staring out the window expressionlessly as he thought.

Zexion ignored his table mate; he'd hardly gotten to talk to Demyx at all, and was uninterested in talking with a non-Organization member at the moment. Instead, the Nobody cut himself a piece of the chicken tenders.

The guardian glanced over as the nurse brought a young man to sit at his table, his eyes narrowing slightly as he regarded the newcomer. Silvery hair, light blue eyes - the annoying nurse probably thought they 'matched' or something equally idiotic.
Just as Yue was about to look away again, though, he thought that he sensed...something. He couldn't be certain, or be certain that what he felt came from this person and not another nearby, but it was sufficient distraction from the food Yue wasn't particularly interested in eating. The guardian fixed his attention on the stranger, who was ignoring him anyway, and concentrated on an attempt to identify his aura. Maybe his senses weren't completely useless, after all.
