It took longer than Elle would have liked to break the door lock. She hated being so weak. But finally she felt the door give and found herself in a dark room lined with filing cabinets.
The first name she checked under was Bishop, but then she remembered that the nurses all seemed to think her name was Cardinal. Sure enough, there was a file on Jaye Cardinal. She tucked it under her arm, planning to read it in the relative comfort of her room.
She only wished she knew Sylar's "name." He'd signed a lot of his posts on the bulletin board as "Zachary" or "Taylor," but he'd given no last name and either of those might have been made-up aliases.
But she did know the name the nurses had for Eddie. They'd called him Mr. Lancaster.
The drawer on the L filing cabinet was even more jammed than the other had been, and she was still weak from whatever had gone wrong with her powers. But she was determined, and eventually she got the drawer open and grabbed the file on Mark Lancaster.
