Instead of waiting for Nightshift to come, Roxas had found himself crawling into bed. That day in bed he'd spent because of his head injury had left him feeling oddly exhausted, and even though he knew oversleeping would only make that worse, he tried to sleep anyway

The distraction cost him though, because even though he noticed her, the girl remained oblivious to his presence. Before he could move away, she barreled into him, leaving him to struggle with his balance. Luckily, he'd been able to keep his footing, but it looked like the same didn't apply to her.
Figuring he might as well try to be a little nice, he reached his hand out to help the girl up. "Are you okay?"
And then he froze.
Memories that weren't his came bubbling to the surface. Sandy beaches, bright blue sky, laughing faces...
"....Kairi?" It was a little hesitant - there was no telling if she'd know who he was, after all. But either way, he knew Sora wasn't going to like this.

That voice was ... firmiliar.
Grabbing at her flashlight ( which rolled away when she had fallen. Dumb girl ) she held it up ever so slightly, so she could see the person's face ... and she, too, froze. The boy ... looked very, very very similar to Sora. They could almost be twins, if it wasn't for the boy's crazy awesome hair. Something in her mind told her she knew who this boy was. And when he spoke her name, she knew who he was.
" ... Ro .. xas? "

"Yeah," he nodded when Kairi spoke his name. Something about this was really weird, and he couldn't find it in him to move just yet. What was she doing here? Well, okay, bad question, considering he didn't even know what he was doing there, but still.
So now what? Maybe it would a good idea to look for Sora, or maybe Naminé. They couldn't just stay here, or they'd end up monster food. And speaking of monsters, did she even know what this place was? If not, they'd have to find somewhere safe so he could explain.
....Oh. Right. Kairi was still on the ground, wasn't she? Wordlessly, he tried to help the girl to her her feet. They should probably move somewhere else, anyway.
"How much do you know about this place?" He asked carefully. He was willing to bet that it wasn't much, in which case he'd have to do some explaining.
This was going to be a long night, he could tell.

"I guess I’ll refer to you as that too then." After making their introductions Axel came across the set of doors that led to the hallways, pushing them open and taking a quick glance around before continuing.
"If anyone has then I haven’t met them yet, but I doubt these riddles are impossible to solve." The redhead wondered what people got when they did solve them and if they were really helpful in the first place. He guessed it was a good time as any to see for himself, and pressed onward down the hallway, shining his flashlight onto every nook and cranny for extra safety.
"So…" He started, green eyes glancing at Hojo. "What was up in your life before you got dumped here? That is, unless you don’t feel like first basin’ it with someone you’ve just met." The nobody joked.

"Before Landel's? Scientific research of questionable legality." Because, really, if the doctors knew it wasn't a secret any more. "Where are you going?"

What Axel did while he was back in the Organization certainly wasn't of questionable morale even if he did do it for the greater good. Still, he was paying the price for what he hadn't even done yet, which goes to show how 'forgiving' his acquaintances are.
"I'm looking for something interesting." Axel answered with a click of his tongue. "Curiosity's certainly killed, but that doesn't mean people stop trying."

"Ah!" Whoa! She hadn't expected to bump into anyone else that quickly! She skidded to a halt once the doors swung open, spying two more shadows. It was a little dark and hard to see with her hair falling in her face (she'd have to find another headband or something), but there was definitely two men ahead of her, seeming engaged in discussion. She was already staring at them like a deer in headlights. Maybe she should…
"Um… excuse me," she stuttered out ('real smooth, Alyssa'). "There are people being attacked back there and um… and they probably need help…" Not the most convincing plea for ( ... )
