hereOnce through the door Siegfried paused again to consult the map. There was a blank space where the rooms had not been recorded, but Siegfried was sure that those were the rooms he had found the previous night, and if he was reading the map correctly it seemed that they led around in a circle and returned back to this hallway. That the door he slipped through should have been locked didn't deter Mozenrath. If anything, he saw it as a convenient shortcut-- someone else had broken through the lock so he didn't have to. And where better to keep items of power like a magic gauntlet then under lock and key? This was certainly a step in the right direction.
Of course, even with the other scattered figures in the hall, he found the light quality weak. Scar needed to hurry up with that light stick so he could have a proper look around. He folded his arms and looked back at the lion with an impatient expression.

Not that he currently had any fangs to begin with.
As he caught up with Mozenrath, he swept the beam of his light stick over the hall. He didn't necessarily need the extra light to spot the other patients in the hall, but he concluded the area to be safe for now.

This door looked as if it had already been broken open, and that made Daemon pause to swipe his flashlight up the hall, checking for any of the supposed monsters that were supposed to be in this hall, searching for Jill, he assumed.
There had been nothing of use in the last room, but he hoped the doors in this hall would give them something more useful.
He paused to inspect the first door in this hallway, a cool smile slipping across his lips as he noticed this lock was worn and dented.
"We should be able to get into this one," he spoke to his father and brother.

Scar let Mozenrath go as soon as they had entered the hallway, not too keen on dragging him around longer than absolutely necessary. His green eyes quickly scanned the area, but unlike the previous room there did not appear to be any threats that could be alerted by a certain man's big mouth.
"I do hope you are satisfied?" he commented to said man with big mouth.
