Momo started up the stairs and then stopped about halfway up. She titled her head a little and looked back down the stairs, past Hokuto and Archer. Did she just feel...?
She narrowed her eyes a little and scolded herself for letting her hopes suddenly jump like they did. She was on a mission and she needed to focus on that. The shinigami turned and started back up the stairs.

Hokuto was as alert as she could be; keeping her mind clear and still was nearly effortless in this kind of situation, and every bit of her attention was on her surroundings. However, she couldn't sense much of anything, leaving her at a distinct disadvantage.

Suddenly, static burst out of the radio, which Archer had picked up on the way out of his room. It was a good thing he had set the volume low, otherwise they might have attracted some unwanted attention. Now, he raised the volume just enough so they could hear the enigmatic voice on the radio.
The room where there is almost always sound other than talking during the day? Could it be...
"Do you think she's referring to the Music Room?" Archer suggested quietly but confidently, despite his limited knowledge of the institute. He didn't really know if the voice on the radio was trustworthy, but it sounded a lot more interesting than just rescuing patients.

The radio broadcast was noted and the shinigami nodded to Archer. "Most likely. The previous radio personality hid this in that room," she said with a gesture to her katana. "I hope someone can wrest it from whatever monster is guarding it."
She kept on up the stairs and turned down the hall at the top of the stairs.

Assassins were trained in moving through crowds and past other without being noticed. Ex-assassins never lost that knowledge. Rena was a quick learner, the Bride thought, as the two crept silently up the stairs, skirting past the others.
