There were usually a couple of floating lights from people in these hallways, so Angel didn't pay much attention to yet another one until he rounded the corner and realized its owner was much closer than the light would've indicated.

"Oh-jeez. Sorry." Angel reached out automatically to steady the boy, in case he'd knocked him off balance. It didn't take much of a closer look to tell that the kid was pretty beat up already as it was.

Nice. Of all the people he could've run over tonight, he had to pick the one who looked like he'd been hit by a truck.

Scar glanced around as he reached the next hallway, wanting to make sure no one would be able to surprise him. There only appeared to be a few humans standing around, but other than that, the hall was empty. Concluding the area to be safe, the King pressed on.

Not many people hanging around this hall, which was all to the good. Subaru didn't know what he'd do if he ran into someone needing help when he was in such a hurry.

Subaru slipped into the bathrooms quietly, hoping desperately for a monster-free visit.

Subaru hated the feel of having that tainted water all over him, and worried that it was going to affect his powers. Hopefully the Norn could help with that, but if not... well, he'd make do.

Limping more heavily now, Subaru headed out towards the halls linking the Male and Female patient blocks.
