[from here.]

Leading the way, Edward gestured at the door in front of them. "The M-Block bathroom," he explained, opening the door to peek his head in. He looked around with a frown, inhaling deeply a few times.

He turned back to Bella with a small smile. "No blood this time. I think you're safe." Wasn't he glad that was the case this time? He ( Read more... )

Harry let Bella enter the room first and looked around for a moment as he stayed by the door. "There was blood last time?" he asked, grossed out by the idea. He looked at Bella, frowning slightly, before he realized he should probably over to help Edward. "Is there something I can do?" He moved to examine a sink a little ways away from the vampire, but unless there was a snake on it, he was clueless as to how to get it off without proper tools.

Bella couldn’t help but let out a relieved sigh when Edward said there was no blood, and she turned to give Harry a slight smile when he allowed her to enter the room first. He was such a gentleman ( ... )

Even with his preoccupation with examining the pipe fixture, Edward looked up at Bella's face with the touch, a slightly pained expression crossing his face -

Before she was gone, and he was frowning back at the pipe, like she hadn't moved towards him; like he hadn't been forcing himself to not lean towards the touch. "The pipes were filled with it," he continued with her explanation, sounding almost at awe with it. "That night was different than the rest. The air was thicker - and the moon was red."

And everyone's thoughts had been so confused about it, meaning it wasn't something that had happened before - or at least often enough for the newer patients to know of it.

Edward looked over Harry with a skeptical glance, standing up from his crouch. "Help me kick it off? It worked last time pretty easily."

Harry pretended that he didn't see them, but the two of them made him feel as if he would give anything to wake up in Hogwarts and be able to see Ginny and touch her and talk to her. He had gone to bed after the battle with hopes that the two of them could talk or... more than talk. At least she wasn't here. He didn't think he could handle that and he wasn't sure how Edward was.

He also tried to pretend he didn't notice how enthralled Edward seemed with the thought of all the blood that had been in here.

He got up and moved to help Edward. "Yeah," he said when Edward asked for help, thankful he had at least put on his hard slippers. "This would be a lot easier with magic," he half-joked as he got into position to help Edward dislodge one of the pipes.
