He put on the coat from the closet, grateful for the extra pockets it afforded. He then moved to his bed, pulling the pillowcase off his pillow and dropping a pair of syringes from the box he'd acquired last night inside. He carefully wrapped them up in the case, stuffing the bundle into one of the coat pockets when he'd finished.
Grabbing his flashlight and the bar Hattori had loaned him, he headed out of the room and into the hall, running quietly past the rows of doors.

Grabbing his flashlight, journal and pen, Jack sprang out the door the moment they unlocked, but quickly stopped as he realized just what the Intercom Man had said.
He killed someone? Frowning, Jack felt his enthusiasm for the man drop a bit. He had better have a good explanation for killing someone or Jack would have to give him a very stern talking to.
