Kairi didn’t stop running even when she got into the female block bathroom. She knew it was a dead end, but if she hid and was silent enough, perhaps the attacker would move on.
Racing past the sinks, Kairi quickly dove into one of the bathroom stalls and shut the door behind her, sitting low on the ground next to the toilet as so to try and become as small as she could. Her injured hand was cradled against her chest in silence, minus the choked sob that escaped her when a throb of pain shot down her hand. Of course, with the pain from the cuts and bites as well as the ache in her stomach and the bite to the lip, it wasn’t like she was unprepared for this new shooting pain.
Falling silent once again, Kairi tilted her head up and stared blindly towards the ceiling, another choked sob threatening to escape.
She had to get out somehow.
