Night 29: M111-M120 Hall

Jan 18, 2008 16:12

[M???]Ken was used to strange nightly transitions, but even he had to admit, it was never up to this caliber. The Dark Hour was one thing; Landel's was entirely another. Certainly, the power outages were the same, but he couldn't recall a time a voice announced its arrival as well. There was occasionally Fuuka, of course, but she only spoke in a ( Read more... )

Jack had finished his meal (delicious, even the meaty parts) and had explored his room in its entirety before long. He had found several hidden items, none of which were particularly astounding or even that useful yet. The little radio only spat static and the flashlight seemed like a silly thing to have during the day. He checked the door and was a little disturbed to find that it was locked. Was he expected to stay here? That was no fun ( ... )

Dinner was pretty uneventful. Nathan had found himself ushered back to an empty room, left alone with himself and the hefty burden of information he'd gotten from Sanji earlier in the day. He was almost disappointed that he had to spend the evening alone; if there'd been another patient locked up with him, he might've had the chance to confirm the other man's story. Akabane stepped out of his room, and was immediately pleased that he had thought to bring the flashlight. Flicking it on, he aimed the light in both directions. The hall was empty, though there seemed to be other rooms on either side. It seemed that staying in one place would get him no where closer to answers, so the Transporter turned down the hall. He was seeking answers for one thing, but entertainment as well. Certainly this place was interesting, but Akabane was far more inclined to get information about this place. Especially if it meant he would have to fight for it. Now THAT was something enjoyable.

Well, this place was empty.

The niggling idea was growing, though, and Zelnick hoped...

Well, anyway, he should try and find someone to ask where he was before jumping to a conclusion. He moved farther down the hallway, flashlight shining ahead of him.
