[F2]She was in the midst of shoving pens into her coat when the intercom had announced the coming night. To her surprise, the voice in both sessions was not the maniacal doctor of previous nights; instead, it was a woman. Lydia the head nurse, specifically

Rangiku ate quickly and had hen managed to catch a short nap before the intercom sounded and the doors open. She paused in the middle of pulled her sword out from beneath the mattress. That voice... it sent chills down her spine. What had happened to the doctor? Or... if he'd gone walking, would he show up tonight?
Anyway, she had work to do.

Turning towards Rukia for a moment, Kairi reached into her desk and pulled out the flashlight she had hidden away before once again turning towards her roommate. “Okay, I’m all set.”
She was excited to see Sora - it had been ages since she had been able to see her old friend.

Rukia had just finished eating when the radios turned on. She was a little surprised when Landel himself didn't come on, and wondered where in the Institute he might be... "Creepy," she muttered, only too happy when the radio went silent again.
After that it was like an old routine: a simple belt made out of a sheet, katana in place, a few pens in her pocket, notebook tucked against her back, a flashlight in hand, and she was ready to go. Rukia followed Kairi out into the hallway, giving the radio in their room a dirty look all the while.
Flicking on the flashlight, she pointed the beam down the hallway. "We just have to get directions from one of the other shinigami. She said she'll meet us by the entrance to this block. Then we can go meet Sora, okay?"

Just then, she remembered. Naminé’s maps! “Oh! I forgot something inside! You can go ahead of me and I’ll catch up to you later so I don’t slow you down. I know someone’s waiting for you, so I wouldn’t want you to be late or anything …” where had she even put those maps? They would come in handy, that’s for sure.
“Don’t worry about me, okay? I’ll be fine. Tell Sora I’ll be there as soon as I can.” A soft smile crossed her lips then, and Kairi nodded her head.

"...Okay," she said after a moment. "Be careful. See you soon."
With that she turned and jogged down the hallway, on the look our for Vice Captain Hinamori.

That sounded somewhat easy but, as she stepped into the hall with her flashlight in hand, Hanyuu realized there was one small problem. That being: she had no idea where F33 was. Well, she was in F6, so F33 couldn't be that far, right?
"Auauu," she murmured, before turning and heading down the hall. Hopefully she wouldn't get lost.

When she heard a soft "Auauu," however, she immediately brightened. There couldn't be any mistaking that voice!
"Hanyuu-chan?" the girl called out, careful to keep her voice soft enough for the other girl to not be startled.

"Rena?" Thank goodness it was someone she knew! Hanyuu hadn't thought her room would be so close to one of the others-- at least, she assumed Rena's room was in the same hall. Nightshift had only just begun, after all.
Clutching her flashlight to her chest, she scurried back to the other girls side, comforted by the fact that she hadn't needed to be alone very long. "Is your room in this hall, too?"

Oh, right. They were supposed to get going to Arlene's room. "Are you ready to go?" Rena asked, tugging at the end of her coat sleeves. "F33 shouldn't be too far, right?"

She was starting to feel lonely again.
Naminé decided to go and see if Soma was around. Perhaps he was just busy; sometimes she would go for a few days without seeing people, so just because she didn't see him didn't mean he wasn't around. She would have to go to his room and make sure he was gone before she assumed it.
Of course, the girl was in denial, but she wouldn't admit that. On the bright side, the batteries in Raven's flashlight still worked, and Naminé finally had light. With that, she made her way through the halls and to Soma's room.

She wondered where Gluttony had gotten himself off to. As long as he was keeping himself out of trouble, he'd be perfectly fine.
Now to decide where to go.
