When one grew too attached to others it was hard to break the habit. And in this patient’s case, those words were about as physical as it was psychological.
The doctor described him as a freak of nature, some half human half reptilian abomination that was nothing more than a mockery of evolution. But he had to give the brunet some credit; it made him more than a worthy target for a bit of playful probing. Many would say that he was a heartless bastard for snatching his patient while he was at his weakest, but he was never one to let a little injury get in the way of science.
His path would be difficult to follow. After all, his point of entry was mere centimeters from the medulla, and one wrong move could leave his patient dead in no time. In either case, this was going to be as invigorating as it was dangerous.
The doctor had taken the opportunity to strap his patient down on his stomach with his head angled slightly upwards against an extension of the table. Most of his hair had been tied forward, but a good amount still remained near his neck. Since he was planning to make an incision in that designated area, it would’ve been wise to remove any kind of obstacle that got in his way.
And that was where the electric shaver came to play, coming to life in the doctor’s gloved hands before approaching the brunet with a wide grin drawn over his lips. The noise would've surely been enough to wake his patient, but he could always move to more drastic measures if necessary.
