It didn't take Claude long to assess the situation once they'd stepped into the sun room. He'd never seen a creature like that before, which was saying something, considering all the places and things he'd encountered during his last adventure. That pyramid-headed thing...what was it? It looked terrifying...Either way, it seemed to be engaging some of the other captives at that moment. Claude's first impulse was to jump into the fray, but the unfortunate captives were quick on their feet, and were likely experienced with this sort of thing. Claude was experienced enough in combat to know that him jumping into the battle at this point could possibly throw a wrench into whatever plans these strangers might have had ( ... )

Leon could only stare as he made his way hastily after Claude. With all that had gone on with him and his own friends that evening, he'd hardly given any thought to what was going on with the other patients at the same time. Seeing... whatever creature that was... reminded him of the first night he'd been there - going through the recreational field only to witness multiple struggles between the other patients. (Hadn't there been dogs involved somewhere?)

This was just menacing. Yet for all it's creepiness and however much it made Leon want to run for his life, it was rather odd too. Well, it had a large pyramid shaped object for a head. You didn't get much odder than that.

Any other time he might have felt like he was being treated as a child, following the blond by the hand as he was. He'd been the first to initiate the contact, though. And, to be honest, he felt quite a bit like a child. He was defenseless still, and probably couldn't pull off one more spell if he needed to ( ... )
