He was about to snap an angry retort about what good a library would do them when the kid offered him a truce. Stretching, Touma walked over to the door and studied it a bit. "You know, I thought I heard a lock click just a bit ago. We can always try looking around the place...." He wanted to start searching for a way out, but he had to find someone to watch over Mero. Hopefully one who wouldn't concern him- or herself with Touma's own safety.
