It was a hell of a lot easier to navigate with the flashlight beam ahead of him. He'd never been here during the nightshift, but he knew the path well from the day. Kurikara sighed and moved on.

The hallway seemed relatively quiet despite the eerie feeling he felt after stepping out. Narrowing his eyes in response, the Night Rune incarnation shone the light of his torch down one end of the hall and then the other, before feeling the subtle scent of a breeze against his skin. Feeling such a thing was a strange sensation, and it was perhaps the first time he’d ever actually experienced it.
He idly wondered why humans made such a fuss over the concept of feeling and pain, and found it to be nothing but a weakness of their race. A weakness that now seemed to be apart of him in this vile human form he’s unwillingly taken. Shaking his head to rid himself of the thought, the sword snorted softly in annoyance as he made his way down along the same wall, and out towards where he knew the outside lay.

It did not take any longer than a few minutes to reach the main hall, as expected. Once there, the doctor turned to his right (as he had done fore the last three nights) and continued on into the next hall.
