here] And there they were: the doors to the Sun Room!
But where was Allen?! Rhode stood at the doors, tapping her foot and looking around. There had been such a gathering here last time, so why wasn't anyone here now? Not that she cared for anyone past her favorite white haired exorcist, but she had still expected to at least find someone

Mion stepped out of the last hallway and looked around, Rena presumably close behind. The doors to one side were definetely the sun room, so... Were they close? She idly wondered exactly where the kitchen was - it would be really bad if the kitchen was, for whatever reason, close to the entrance, and it would kill the whole idea of not doing what the guy in charge wanted them to do to boot.
"So... I think that's the Sun Room," Mion flashed her flashlight in it's general direction before switching it off again. "So do you know where we need to go next, Rena...?"

"Umm..." Rena squinted, trying her best to make out what features she could out within the darkness. "There's a couple of doors on the other side, and I think one of them has what we're looking for."
Cautiously stepping forward, Rena led Mion to the third, furthest door from them and turned the knob.

With a frown, Malik stalked in to the hall, once again not glancing back to see if his charge was following. He wasn't trying to shake him on purpose, and actually was pretty certain Lei would be fast upon his heels.
He definitely recognized this place from the morning. He had passed through here into the Sun Room just this afternoon.
There seemed to be quite a few people here. He paused a few meters from the double doors to the Sun Room. The cafeteria, if he recalled, was just past the room beyond..

He'd already been to this hallway many times and it was boring. He would have to inform Malik that they were not going to go this way.
"I want to look at the stairs," He said firmly, catching up with his forced companion. "Why are we here?"

"I wanna see the outer walls," he continued, turning back to glance at the doors. "Have you ever been outside?"

There was no reason to go outside, really. Not unless he was looking to leave, which the Mazoku lord wasn't. It was more important right now to gain a footing and gain knowledge about the institution itself instead of the surrounding world. Besides, it was all going to be destroyed soon if he had his say.
He didn't say anything further, just put his hands on his hips and pouted (this time it was no act) over Malik's refusal to investigate the stairs.

Mason moved as quickly as he could past all the people in his corridor. His nose was bleeding now, and he wiped it hastily on his sleeve. This wasn't shaping up to be the best night of his life, but the promise of drugs sped his feet on their way.

Beatrix paused when she saw the couple groups of prisoners up ahead and looked back to make sure Hanyuu was as close as she thought the girl was. She didn't see anything else in the hallways - certainly none of those supposed monsters people were talking about.
She looked over the two groups, noting they all seemed young. One group looked like children except for the way they talked and the other group a little older. None of them appeared as if they would be of any use to the Bride. She turned to Hanyuu.
"So, what do you think? We keep going down the hall or we check out either the door on the right or the one the boys there are standing in front of?" twelve year-olds liked being included in decision-making, right?

Now was the awkward part. Usually it was Rika making the decisions; Hanyuu would simply go along with what the other girl wanted, even if she didn't always agree... Apparently, though, decision making was something else Hanyuu needed to get used to around here.
"Auauu," the former spirit murmured, considering the options. One of the doors had people standing in front of it, and it seemed the doors on the right were being ignored. She really didn't want to have to bypass the group standing in front of the one door, and there was no telling how far the hallway continued on.
"We could try the door on the right?" Hanyuu suggested, looking up at Arlene. "Would that be okay?"

Beatrix paused at the door and listened carefully. She didn't hear anything, so she nodded. "Stay close behind me," she said, her voice dropping to a more serious tone, and she opened the door.

Sasuke's left hand followed the wall, trailing lightly. There were people in this hall, which made him tense immediately. Most of them were engrossed in their own conversations, judging by what Sasuke could hear. With a bit of careful navigation, he moved around them, assuming by what was said that two other travelling patients would present little interest.
He stopped when his hand found the door frame, frowning. He could hear what sounded like a fight going on inside -- which made sense. If the goal was in the kitchen, there would likely be a guard of some sort posted.
They'd probably have to get around it, which wouldn't be simple.

Another shout above the rest and Kakashi instantly recognized Lee.
"Well?" he asked, tone light, acknowledging Sasuke's previous comment. "I assume you're hesitating because you're thinking of another route; or are you actually thinking of jumping in?"

He was perhaps being a little more optimistic than he was (the beasts around here had a way of finding people), but from the sound of the conflict, there were enough people involved that there might be sufficient distraction --
Except now he could hear Lee, and that meant that he had an obligation. Making an irritated noise (there was a fight in this hallway, too, but it sounded much more like a scuffle than anything serious), he turned his head back towards Kakashi out of habit.
"You heard Lee, too," he said, because anyone could have heard Lee. "He's an ally. I'll see if he needs help; you can do whatever you want."

"...Go," Kakashi replied, having already adjusted to the need for vocal responses. "I'll follow." Weaponless and with his jutsu out of the question -- not his favorite way of jumping into unknown territory, but he often chose to be the former and he didn't always need the latter, and he still had his experience, which was really more important than anything that had been taken from him.
