No matter what her mind told her, it wasn't important and, as she now repeated over and over to herself, it wasn't real. She was convinced of that. These emotions that kept plaguing her were merely those of the ghost woman, nothing more

Now that Momo was in the correct hallway, she couldn't help the nervousness she felt creeping up in her. Byakuya was coming to get a weapon. Momo was going to have to talk to him face to face. She wanted to hide and have Signum give the noble his weapon, but as appealing as shuffling the responsibility to another to save her from having to interact with the noble captain was, Momo simply could not do that to her friend. She just needed to have faith that Byakuya's sense of refinement would cause him to not tear into her about the past with others present.
It really didn't help her nerves, though.
21... 22... 23.
Momo paused in front of the door, idly wondering who Signum's roommate was and if said roommate had already left. She knocked on Signum's door.

It would have been much easier if she had her flashlight. If it hadn’t been smashed by that stupid huge monster. Oh well.
She only hoped Aidou would come soon. Bella felt bad for making him come all the way to her, but without a flashlight? She wouldn’t get very far at all.

At least he looked fine on the outside. Though, she knew something must have been wrong with him. After all, hadn’t she seen that horrid tattoo that was suddenly on his skin?
Looking down at the flashlight he held in his hand as well as her pipe, Bella let out a relieved sigh and smiled. “Thanks for this, Aidou. I really wouldn’t have gotten all that far without a flashlight.” It was true, at any rate. Despite the fact that she had been strictly prohibited from wandering around on her own, without a flashlight she wouldn't have even been able to travel in a group.

When a female thanked him for something, it was customary to give his famous Idol grin and flounce away to the next girl. He tried to do just that, but it fell a little short, so he settled for a half-formed smile. It didn't feel right on his face, but then again, for the past two nights nothing had.
He held them out for her, more wary than he should have been about letting their hands touch. It seemed inappropriate to avoid little slip-ups like that, now, of all times. "Of course. Not that you should be going anywhere with or without a flashlight, but that goes without saying." And with her 'boyfriend' present, yet. That could be messy.
But it didn't pique Aidou's interest; it wasn't his concern.
"Well, better luck this time."

Which was very dark.
It took Ururu a moment to find the switch to her flashlight, but once she did, she could see a lot easier. She shone the light up and down the hall, looking at the people coming out of their doors, and not seeing Kisuke-san among them. She didn't want to call out for him, however, in case the enemy was listening, so instead she looked, and then decided to move on.
She needed to find Kisuke-san.

Sadly, the princess had little plan or purpose for the evening and only hoped that she would find something like it soon enough. She despised feeling so lost. From the Empire's clutches to a madhouse... How frustrating.
