Armand spared a glance back over his shoulder at the hallway outside the bathrooms at the end of his own block but didn't see anyone so he pushed open the door (to his left instead he realized) into the larger corridor he remembered well from last night. Renji had the flashlight in one hand, the knife ready in the other as he came out into the hall. While he was aware of the other people he passed, for now he ignored them. He had a knife, and all of the drugs were out of his system; there weren't many things or people he couldn't take on, like this. Not that he was looking for trouble.

He headed for the first M block.

He was somewhat surprised to find the hallway already occupied with others by the time he managed to open the doors into the next area. It was scarcely populated, but populated nonetheless. Jade pressed his glasses up to the bridge of his nose and took the time to look about. The decor was as similar as the rest of the Institute, but a little lighting (or none, in this case) did wonders to the atmosphere.

Not that the brunet was intimidated, but it was something worth noting if he were to roam through these halls for a few nights more

Jaunty and happy as he was, Captain Jack still made sure to look both ways before going out into the hall. He'd learned long ago that the universe had a sense of irony, and that sense of irony often expressed itself by mangling him or killing him when he finally had a good chance to get laid after a little dry spell.

Nothing yet, though.

He checked the knife as he moved, avoiding the few other patients out in the hallways this early. The institute felt... odd tonight. Heavy. Most likely yet another way of slowing them down and stopping whatever plans they might have had. Unfortunately, Hakkai'd dealt with worse. He kept moving.
