And a problem, it was. Tsuzuki managed to find his way to the hallway after a little searching, but as for which room was Hisoka's, well... He could always knock until he found the right one, right? And so, Tsuzuki headed down the hallway. He vaguely remembered it was a low number, so if he started at that end it might be a little quicker.
He knocked a few times on M41. No response. Moving on, he rapped his knuckles against M42. Hopefully, this wouldn't take too long...
It was well into the night when a knock on the door pulled Hisoka from his thoughts and to say the least, he wasn't the happiest. Despite the boy's wish for the silence to remain unbroken, Hisoka soon found himself pacing as he waited, wondering what could have happened for both of them to take so long to arrive.
Had both of them seen the note to meet here? ...Did either of Tsuzuki or Byakko even know where here was? Hisoka was tempted to smack his forehead in frustration. Of all times to leave out little details!
The silence in the room had become stifling, the empath wanted to leave already. He padded over to his desk and pulled out his flashlight, clutching the device as if to ward away the dark shadows (and whatever monsters in it).
So the knock that came some time later was more of a blessing than Tsuzuki could have imagined, though Hisoka wasn't in the mood to share this. Walking over to the door, he abruptly pulled it opened and shone a light at his partner's feet.
Much to Tsuzuki's surprise, the door opened only a few seconds after his second try. Well! He'd gotten something fairly right for once. Even if he was a little late. Or a lot.
"Sorry," he answered sheepishly, "I kinda got lost. I hope I didn't leave you and Byakko waiting too long." Though, now that Tsuzuki took a look around... Byakko didn't seem to be there.
He frowned, looking back to Hisoka. "Isn't he here yet?..."
Hisoka scowled slightly and retreated back into the room, leaving the door open behind him.
"He was supposed to be with you," the boy's unhappiness at this was obvious in his tone. He didn't want to have to wait even further, Hitsugaya wasn't going to wait around all night. In fact they may have already missed him.
