There wasn't even time to watch where she was going. No, there was only time to close her eyes and let her feet guide her down the path she would

"One corner!" Rena panted as she rounded the first. One more, then the second door on my, my... "Left!"
There was a commotion in this hall, but the girl managed to evade people and reach the entrance of the first M Block.

Fight or flight, and the albatross' wings could carry her far on the winds before the little people living in her brains would turn on her again. Coasting along, feeling and thinking as though the notions were fading memories fighting not to be forgotten. There were those injured here. The Elven Prince and the devourer of men among them. No one who's eyes she could claim to know, and so she dashed past them, barely the sound of wind rushing past. In the darkness, it would make her a ghost.
Of course, River had a direction in mind, illogical though it might've been. To hell with her, to hell with Rufus. He wouldn't want, and then she'd melt away until winter came to freeze the water that had once been a girl. Even then, she'd never be complete again. Icy prisons. A cold winter was coming indeed.

Ahhhh, this seemed like the right place. The female block. There was the scent of ozone and electricity in the air and he peered curiously into the darkness. Blood too, the coppery tang sharp in his nose. He scrubbed at it with the back of his hand childishly.
Still, no time to waste and investigate.

Max had heard noises coming from this direction when she'd first stepped from her room, but the corridor was deserted now. She glanced to her left and right, recognizing the hall from the night before. She and Susan had come this way. At least that now gave her something to connect with. That meant the door ahead of her and the one down the hall to her right led to the stairs that headed up one floor, and the doorway a little further down on her left led to the waiting rooms and the room where she'd found the fake patient files.
Since she wasn't ready to start mapping out the second floor yet, she turned to her left, coming to the first hall leading off of it, on her right. It seemed to stretch down to a doorway much the same was as the ones in their dorm block had, so she kept going. A doorway opened up on her right and she recognized the lounge.
Pausing here, she waited for Excel to catch up, the layout here looking familiar, at least.

"Erg," she grumbled, reaching Max and leaning against her side. "I think the hunger is starting to get to me. In a few moments it will go straight to my legs. What I wouldn't give for a sandwich. Yeah. Menchi sandwich. Yum."

She put her pillow up and marched into the lounge, dreaming of all the wonderful things that she could soon eat.

The mix of boredom and irritation finally forced her into humming as she trekked along. She had to have something to do other than walking along the war path, and since this was the Ark, she couldn't exactly start blowing holes in things to get her point across to the twins. That would interrupt the download. There was probably less than an hour left now. That alone told her that she was on one of the higher floors. Even Jasdebbit's illusions couldn't override the crumbling this place should have been going through. She smiled at the thought of them getting caught by a crumbling room because they couldn't figure out if they'd made the illusion or not. That'd show them for messing with her like this. She wouldn't let them die though, they were family. She could break the rules just a bit and send her door to them if they were really that stupid ( ... )
