Nightshift 25: Hallway outside the Sun Room and Entry Room

Jack rounded the corner from the residence block and headed towards the entry room. If the map was correct, it was across from the sun room, and Jack knew where THAT was, at least. He approached the sun room door, turning to look across the hall.
"What do you know," he remarked, "There IS another door."
He'd never given much thought to what could have been across the way before, as it didn't directly affect his wellbeing. Now, though, he knew it held another path to the outside, preferably one without giant lightning monsters that wanted to eat him. What's the worst that could be running around on the INSIDE of this place? Sadistic psychopaths with swords and the desire to end the Fable's life? He'd taken care of THAT threat. Going out the front door was probably the safest path available.
Whistling an upbeat tune, Jack opened the door to the Entry Room and slid in.
