Rangiku slipped out of her own corridor and into the main one, moving as quickly as she could without drawing too much attention to herself.

First Male bock. That was what she'd said and she still had the map and Artermis' journal.

The map from Naminé would come in handy in figuring out where M91 was.

If there were no patient rooms on the second floor, then it would stand to reason that her destination lay somewhere in the area she was already in. Seeing as how she had only one unmarked area on her map as far as patient rooms were concerned, it was rather easy for Larxene to figure out where to go.

The first step was to get out of the female block and head left…

Wandering through the halls in the dark almost made Relena feel like she was back in the Darlian estate, sneaking out of her room in the dark of night for cookies.

No, not the time to be reminiscing. She hurried through the halls, hoping nothing would attack her this time.

Ashton was always aware of Dias' facial expressions, willingly or not. It was part of his being a nervous kind of guy - he naturally aimed to please, and was sometimes more sensitive than he really ought to be to that sort of thing. And Dias was the kind of person who hardly ever smiled and even more rarely laughed - more glowered, stony-faced, than anything else. So Ashton could tell when Dias was shaken about something, and the mention of the possibility of Rena being here did the trick.

That was why he set off first toward the female block. He'd been here before to get Naminé that night he saved Axel, and had written it on the map that he'd spent the last few days pretty much doing his best to memorize. Come to think of it, that was where his flashlight was! She must still have it

"Rena is the only girl I really know at all out of your friends," Dias pointed out absently, scanning the other patients over Ashton's head. No one with blue hair...he wasn't sure if that was something to be grateful of or concerned about. Granted, the chances of Rena's being pulled to this place were slim...it had been weeks, really, and the only other person who'd arrived from Expel was Ashton, and he hadn't arrived for a good while. Although he was willing to check out Ashton's instincts based entirely on his trust in his friend, it didn't seem all that likely that another Expellian would wind up here.

Or was he simply hoping that, and concocting arguments to support it?

"Was Precis the mouthy mage from Mars, the one with three eyes, or the one with the squeal that could shatter glass?" He gave Ashton a questioning look out of the corner of his eye.

She appeared in the distance, barely visible in the dim light. Her arms were hugged around herself tightly, blood staining them to the elbow. Her face was pale, eyes wide.

River whispered something, her lips moving; it was impossible to hear.

Ashton couldn't help but feel a little dejected, hearing Dias' description of the rest of his female friends. Had Dias thought the same thing about him before he'd come to Landel's? Had he just been 'that guy with the dragons' to Dias, like he had been to virtually everyone he encountered on his journey

As Chloe wandered through the building, she saw other people walking around. Some were in groups, some were by themselves - but they were all wearing the same clothing as her.

Other patients, she thought. What kind of hospital lets it patients walk around in the dark?

Her grip on the flashlight tightened. Where had she been taken? Who were these people?

She felt tempted to ask one of them why they were skulking about at night, but she figured they weren't doing it for a reason they'd be willing to share with her.

But wasn't she doing the same thing? Maybe they were also just trying to figure out what was going on.

No, she thought, they're walking too deliberately. They know where they're going.

She kept walking.
