Rabastan was on a mission to try to please Severus Snape. Someone should really stop and pity the poor Potions Master. So far, Bast had managed to lose just about everyone he had gotten attached to, and he was determined to not lose Severus. Severus was real after all

Ravi gave a nod in agreement. Yeah, that was exactly what it was - everybody had to find that frustrating, right? Trying to get somewhere whenever they got the chance every night so far, but just ending up back in the same place over and over again without even trying. Sure, maybe you got a chance to get at least a little further in that time, but it was still pretty annoying

Picking up on Aya's tone of voice, Ravi studied him curiously for a moment before he smiled. "Yeah, but that's real life for you, right? Things're different there, not like what you get in books." Even history books didn't contain every single bit of real history the world had ever seen. That was knowledge only Bookmen had access to.

"We fight and kill Akuma," Ravi replied, placing his hands inside his pockets. "Kinda like going up against monsters or demons, if you wanna call 'em that." Only that there was more to it than that. No harm in telling Aya, right? So far, he hadn't run into any actual Akuma here.

Ravi raised his eyebrows at Aya's answer to his question. "Wow, that's a pretty long time away. What's the future like?"
