Nightshift 24: hallway beside janitor's closet

[ From here]

Who would have thought Kuja wouldn't seek the center stage for once? It was rare the genome would ever seek the shadows, to remain out of the spotlights. But now was one of those rare moments, as the sorcerer had no interest in a fight. After all, his means for defense were quite limited.

After he had gone into yet another hallway, he became slightly frustrated. His sense of direction wasn't what it should be without some sort of map, which meant he had no idea in which direction he had gone or should head into.

The cage was certainly starting to resemble a maze, and the large amount of doors in this particular hallway didn't help matters either. He had no idea where to begin his little investigation.

Eventually, he picked a random door only to discover it was locked. However, the lock appeared to be rather weak, weak enough to be forced open when needed.

It was rather unfortunate he had no lock pick with him (where were those pitiful bandits when you actually needed them?), meaning the only way to break the lock was to force it open.

A frown appeared on Kuja's features, as he wasn't very excited to go and slam himself against a wooden door, as such was anything suitable for someone such as him. However, this pathetic little act was the only way he could discover what the door hid. There was no audience, after all.

Contemplating over various possibilites, he finally concluded that trying to break down the door with force was the best way to do this.

This better be not in vain!
