Nightshift 24: M51-60 Hall
Captain Jack was in a good mood; he figured that a lot would get done tonight, since he was just meeting up with Gin - or Captain Gin, as he tended to think of him. It was enough to make his normally cheerful outlook even better. Something about not getting stuck with kids just charmed him down to his toes.
As the Head Doctor started up on the intercom, he dug his knives, apron, and skillet out from their hiding places and got geared up.
Was it him, or did the Head Doctor sound a bit... down? Underappreciated? Unloved.
Whatever it was, it was funny.
Jack chuckled, and headed out into the hallway, his pace quick but still cautious. He kept the flashlight trained on the floor, kept his ears open for any weird noises.
