"I should see if I can find Ema," she added, without turning to look at Detective Badd. "I suppose I could have brought her after all; it's been a quiet night."
That was, perhaps, an ill-chosen way to put it; was there something trapped within one of the drawers? Not the one Gant had been laid in, but there were claws scraping at metal in the room, and she hurried towards the door. "I think we've worn out our welcome. Let's go."

A metallic scratching noise came from one of the drawers. Badd tensed, but felt a pang of relief when he saw Skye reacting to it. Not a hallucination, apparently.
