What was with all the pink light? It made the whole place look girly and strange. Carter picked up the pace as he walked down the hall, eyes trying to look everywhere at once. In fact the whole place looked strange. The people moving through the halls looked subtly different, or in the case of the little girl extraordinarily different. Nothing seemed interested in attacking him and Carter left the bizarreness alone, but it made him very uneasy. He wasn't used to strange things that were strange but didn't also want to eat him alive.
