The past nights he'd walked around without someone else with him at the start had been mixed bags. On one end, he'd run into friendly faces. On the other, he'd taken some bad medicine, or whatever that was. But as long as he made sure not to do that again it shouldn't be too bad, right?

Ominous.
The screeching of the alarm hurt his ears - both sets - and they flattened against his head as the evening changed to night. Whatever was going on, and whatever that pink light had been, Ritsuka wasn't going to concern himself with it. He had a mission tonight and he had to make sure the ones he was supposed to meet were safe. After talking to Sechs and Ippo, he knew he had to keep going. He couldn't just give up and let this place win. As long as someone was getting hurt here, he had to keep trying. And he would. Even if it meant facing a truth he didn't want to face.
With a deep breath, Ritsuka picked up his usual supplies, cut a tail hole in his military uniform and left the beret behind. The night was dark and deep and he had a long ways to go in which so many things could go wrong. He had to move quickly.
