This walk proved to be a very different beast--a calm, dead air settling around the U.R.T.V.'s form in the place of frantic heat. Understandable as there was no brother to fixate upon. There existed only ten minutes, of which Nigredo had planned every single step and action. He would wash his hands and possibly undo his sickness, regain his center and remember that his brother loved him.
Loved him enough to not kill him, even in the face of things that drove men mad.

And that would have been that. Albedo would have trod after, as stated, slipped inside with a smile and a promise and worked to cajole his younger sibling into doing at least something fun in the time given to them. Nigredo was a fine playmate, and not even in the way of toys. Albedo knew full well how Nigredo could keep up; dance to Albedo’s tune without a word otherwise.
