Rapunzel didn't know what she was going to say to Major Harrington yet, but she knew she had to say something. That soldier from the mission, whoever he was, possibly had his life hanging in the balance here. If the military found out who he was and what he had done for her and Tsubaki...
She had to do whatever it took to convince Harrington that if any wrong had been done against the military, it hadn't been from one of their own. Only she and Tsubaki were to blame for any loss of information in the mission the other night. Scratch that - only she, Rapunzel, was to blame. She wasn't going to let her roommate catch any of the flack for this either, so help her.
"Sorry to drag you along like this, but it's important," Rapunzel said over her shoulder to the struggling and baffled Facilier as they made their way up the stairs. "You'll see when we get there. Then we can go get your stuff, wherever it is, I promise, promise, promise!" So long as Harrington didn't skin her alive first, she thought with a gulp.
