To Lily, showers were a natural aspect of the day, much like mediocre food and being ordered around by voices over speakers. It wouldn't be right to say that this place was like her home--it was different in countless ways, most of them good--but for her, the familiarity that many people felt when first entering the greenhouse or recreation field

Shiina entered the shower the same way she had handled the rest of her day; tentatively. Today was perhaps the oddest day in her life. Not the most traumatic, or the most frantic, but certainly the strangest. She had woken up someplace far away from where she had last lay, found a nice friend in Tsubaki, defended the honor of the Akumetsu over the bulletin board and, most important of all, met with a man who should have been dead. Actually, meeting with the dead wasn't new to her, but Shou should never have been able to come back. That was the biggest problem with the whole equation. There was no way another Shou could have been reborn, so that meant Niikura had to have arrived here sometime before the end, right? But he should have known about the others. He should have known about their deaths. They were all over the televisions, weren't they
