Silence was Lelouch's only answer as the doctor continued to mark his flesh, tracing what might have been a very familiar shape to the boy before she set her tool aside on the table. She had expected him to be much more mouthy than his sister, so his feeble attempt at bravado only amused her. She continued to ignore him as she retrieved her next tool, a syringe filled with a vile looking black liquid, and began preparing his arm for injection by swabbing it with a cotton ball.
"Your power can't reach it's potential here. I am doing something about that." She was able to grant the same gift to Nunnally, so this was the natural next step. She paused for a moment, just to find a vein before piercing his flesh with the needle, depressing the syringe and watching as the black liquid flooded his veins. It was supposed to feel icy, like frost spreading throughout one's body, but hopefully Lelouch could endure that much pain, for it was going to become far worse in due time.
Lelouch's words went ignored as the doctor continued to prepare for the procedure, leaving the boy on the table. The purpose of the injection would soon become clear to him, as his limbs would soon stiffen and refuse to respond to any of his commands, akin to sleep paralysis. How terrifying it must have felt to him, putting him at the mercy of the Institute more than usual.
Once the drug had taken it's effect, she moved forward and undid the restraints, placing her gloved hands on the boy and rolling him over so that he would be on his stomach. She could have set him up like that to begin with, but it was a good chance for her to test this particular new solution. It wasn't just the patients who got to toy with the new drugs tonight.
"I'm sure you have your suspicions. You will see soon enough," She smiled smugly, knowing he couldn't see as she restrained him once more, making sure they were nice and tight for when his temporary paralysis would wear off. Now, it was time for the real work to begin.
