Utena gingerly opened the door, sweeping the area ahead of them with her flashlight. Looked like some kind of reception area. There was something written on the white board, but she couldn't read it clearly from the doorway.
"Still no one," she commented, swallowing a dry lump in her throat as they moved in.

Soma's mouth hardened into a thin line. That brought up more memories than she cared to remember. "There's a hallway leading further back," she said aloud, gesturing with the flashlight. "If there's anyone being kept here, they'd probably be down there."

She didn't notice Soma's apprehension. Instead, Utena mostly just tried to suppress her own as they moved out into the halls of the wing.
