In the end, he'd come up with nothing of interest in that hallway. Disappointing, but not unexpected, Vino decided. There hadn't been a room that looked like any sort of recording room at all and besides, they had been deserted. Nope, nothing he was looking for there.
He turned back the way he came and continued on his original path to the where the medical wing should be. By now, the hallway was emptier. Vino guessed that during his short search through the rooms in that side hall, the people he'd seen had all found the medical wing.
There was yet another hallway off to the left, but a quick glance down it revealed that there was nothing at the end but a door, so Vino moved on to only door at the end of the long hallway. This had to be the door to the medical wing, right? He tried the door, feeling the handle twist without much resistance at all. It had to be, if he remembered correctly from the map diagram.
He pushed the door open and stepped in.
