The first order of business was to make sure no one was lurking around with a flamethrower. Indy didn't see anyone, so he took a cautious step out of the pantry and looked around again. No one was here now, but as he kept peering through the darkness, he noticed evidence that someone recently had been: there was something on the floor in the middle of the room, by the refrigerator door. A banana peel?

"Looks fine," he said for the benefit of the others behind him.

Okay, yeah, it was an even worse time to ask than Scott had figured. Peter was not only busy with trying to get out of the pantry, but he also made it sound as though something had changed between daytime and now in regards to his promise.
