While Sora was just as fond as teasing as Kairi and Riku were, there were also limits. He would never tell someone he'd gotten them a gift only to turn around and say it had been some sort of prank. Building up a person's excitement and then taking it all away was the sort of thing only a heartless person could do; someone who lived in darkness.

His thoughts were far too serious for the occasion, though, and Kairi's reaction was enough to chase them all away. Soon he had a smile that matched hers. Kairi never would have expected a place like Doyleton to have a coconut, especially since the only place she ever saw them or spoke to people who knew about them was on Destiny Islands. (Of course, she was only judging this off of the people she met in Traverse town and Twilight Town. She never spoke to others here about her island in such detail.) And considering the weather was so cold, she didn't understand how they could even be grown ( ... )

Kratos' eyes were momentarily drawn to the coconut cradled in Kairi's hands out of curiosity. It seemed like a gift since no one in their right mind would carry around such a thing for an entire night unless they considered it a truly valuable weapon or something along those lines. If that were the case, though, would she need to drop it off? He really could not see any of them lugging a coconut around everywhere they went; it was completely impractical ( ... )

This was the first time Kratos and Kairi were meeting? Well, that was interesting! Though now that he thought about it, he couldn't ever recall a time they had been grouped together, even before he'd been club leader. At least he'd gone ahead and given them the chance, then. That was one of the best parts about the Arts and Crafts club: getting to meet new people ( ... )
