Night 56: Courtyard

Sora landed on a thick layer of snow, using his hands to break his fall. While he did have gloves on, they didn't cover his hands entirely -- which meant that his fingers were going numb before he even knew it. The boy quickly pulled back so that he was on his knees and then crossed his arms to try and generate some warmth back into his hands.
But they had made it outside, so that was the important thing!
Unfortunately, they still had a wall to climb and a forest to find, but Venom seemed to know what he was doing now that those drugs had worn off (at least somewhat). Not that Sora wasn't used to all this, but he didn't know the way.
After eventually pulling himself to his feet, Sora glanced at the man with a grin. "Ready?" He wasn't sure how he wanted to climb over the wall, although getting on the roof of the shed usually worked for him.
