Day 56: Pet Supply Place (late afternoon)

Pet Supply Place, Rose read, and considered the ramifications.  Any decision branched pathways, and she was not Dave, walking them all at once.  She could not see -- nor See -- where this road led, besides an old stop sign and, beyond it, a residential area.

Ritsu had spent most of the day wandering around the town, gravitating towards those spots where he would be least likely to get in the way of other patient's fun. He knew these outtings were a significant highlight in the otherwise dreary reality that they all faced each day, and while he was too selfish to keep himself from tagging along, he was determined not to let his lowly presence ruin anyone else's enjoyment ( ... )

Ilia's time at the bar had been well-spent, even if the quality of the beer she had bought wasn't the best. The point was to consume alcohol and get a pleasant buzz, and that's just what had happened! Even the snow couldn't keep her down now.

She meandered through Doyleton for a while, happy to just enjoy the outside air and the snowy scenery. She came upon the pet shop still in this happy state and after a short moment of contemplation walked on in. Maybe she would find a Roddick or Millie look-alike in here. The thought made her chuckle.

The smell of the pet shop wasn't the most pleasant, but she didn't expect a garden of roses. She passed by a small area housing guinea pigs and was amused by their squeaky chatter. She wasn't very interested in fish, so she stayed away from that wall and weaved her way through the aisles instead. Dog treats, cat toys, hamster spheres... and Ritsu!

"Oh, hello there, Ritsu!" Ilia smiled at the other woman, cheerful and a little tipsy. She followed the other woman's gaze. "Like animals,
