Night 54: East Wing, Hall A

There existed nothing but a row of doors. She almost thought it was another patient hall, but for prior knowledge. Still it reminded one of that, with only small amounts of space in-between. So what would these doors hold? She frowned lightly, and moved closer to the one on the left. Nothing to distinguish it from anything else. Her hand moved to the knob, tried it.

Locked. Like the rooms upstairs that would only open when unlocked. There was an iota of frustration in her. The locked doors only barred excess to more understanding. It seemed too much, to be denied even the smallest bit of insight. Her hand dropped from the door, and she stepped back. "Locked," came her quiet explanation. "I don't know of any keys available that we can use."

There was a chance the other doors weren't locked. But a beginning like this was a bit disheartening.
