At last. Recluse strode into the central hall, glowing eyes searching the hall for any sign of his victim for the night, tapping the flat of his sword against his off hand in a slow beat. Nothing. He found the darkest corner of the hall to stand, alert, his fist tightening and relaxing on the grip of the sword. He would wait. If Sechs did not show himself, he was a coward. He kept to the shadows, moving closer to the android, keeping as silent as he could. He wasn't built for stealth, but the years before his transformation that he had spent as a thief had taught him much. He closed in as close as he thought he might manage without breaking cover before suddenly charging out of the shadows, taking a powerful swing at the android with his sword, eyes flaring with furious deep red light. He had said this would be a fair fight. He had made good on this. He never specified that 'fair' in the Rogue Isles only meant so much.

"Check the closet out," Kaito agreed with a nod. There was a door coming up on their right, but it was a little too soon to make the turn. The next door would lead them to the lobby. "If you have any trouble getting it out, I've got some tools you could borrow. There's a screwdriver and some other stuff."
In the back of his mind, he hoped he wasn't coming off creepy with offering to help Yukari out so much. He might have felt like he knew and trusted her at this point, but Yukari? Man, if he'd been in her shoes it would have been pretty difficult to give himself a chance. He'd have thought he was nuts... or a stalker. Or a detective, but that was more of a personal concern (unless Yukari had trouble with the law, too).
"We're almost there," he said after they'd passed the door. "We need the next door on the right."
