As for the question, "Do I like working here? I've had worse jobs. Here I get to try and help individuals return to their ordinary lives, and that's a worthwhile achievement." If not one he'd set out to pursue when he first stepped into his field of study. "But this is your therapy session, Ethan, not mine. I don't suppose you've had a rough morning?"
That would be unfortunate, given that there had only been one shift in the day before this, but it was entirely possible. Not every patient was entirely pleasant to be around. (He knew - he'd had a couple in his office.)

At the response to his previous question, he just smiled and nodded. That wasn't much of an answer, no, but at least it was a good one. That Ethan hadn't gotten into any arguments with anyone yet that morning (especially a certain someone who would hopefully go unnamed for the rest of the session) was at least something. Not that this particular patient was prone to going out of his way to start fights, but he'd take a little optimism when he could get it.
Mohinder clasped his hands in front of him on the desk as he waited for another answer. They'd see how long he could keep on top of things today.
